From a professional point of view…
I initially studied Naturopathy in France and specialised as a BodyWorker in the UK. I am a fully qualified ITEC Therapeutic Massage Therapist and the last two years I have trained in SLM - Steve Lockhart's Myotherapy, a hands on form of bodywork based largely on an ancient art of healing from the East.
Over the last ten years, I have practised in a mix environment: Chiropractic Clinics, Nursing Home, Beauty Salons and for the last 6 years in the Award Winning Spa Danesfield House in Marlow (www.danesfieldhouse.co.uk).
My practise of massage assists the body to awaken its self-healing powers. The technique I use is a deep tissue massage which helps to alleviate muscles imbalances and provides by consequence a state of deep relaxation.
Due to my background in Naturopathy, I also include in my Massage Program tailored advices that I call “Extreme Self-Care” habits as a healthy back will also depend on your diet, exercise routine and sleeping patterns.
From a personal point of view…
Practising Massage Therapy has been a life-changing experience for me. It has helped me to discover who I truly am by awakening my God-Given talents.
I love massaging because it is simple and has tremendous effect on people and myself – I give and receive. When I assist clients to find again a healthy back/ body and they are truly ready, open to receive healing, the treatment is life-transforming for both of us.
Finally, I love people, laughing, nature, animals, alternative therapies, in fact anything which brings peace, love and light on this planet…
